This is the master list of things I want to ensure my children know. I'll be adding to it as I think of them, and expanding on each of them later!
1. Han shot first.
2. Cyclops/Scott Summers is, and always will be, a douchebag.
3. There is a time and a place for epic lightsaber battles. Your grandpa's funeral may or may not be it.
4. The Star Trek/Star Wars debate is invalid. They're both awesome.
5. After 1990, George Lucas has ruined everything he's touched.
6. Most times, a book is better entertainment than other media.
7. Life's not about competition or even a destination; it's the journey that makes it worthwhile.
8. Yelling "KHAAAAAAAN!" at the top of your lungs when your plans have been foiled is always appropriate.
9. The majority of music made in your Mom and Dad's lifetime has been garbage. Ask your grandparents if you can borrow their records.
10. A strong handshake goes a long way toward respect.
11. Boys, be gentlemen. Girls, be ladies
12. Albert Einstein failed high school math. He didn't let that stop him.
